•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: I don't think many people will have heard of the Dresden Files, but sure.
•BACKTAGGING: Fine. I have a tendency to drop threads after a month or so, but I'm happy to continue.
•AVOIDED TOPICS: I'll say something if any come up.
CANON: The Dresden Files. Unless noted otherwise, I'm playing him from Cold Days.
IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: (Baseline human) Waldo is 5'3, narrow shouldered and wiry with curly wild black hair and thick lensed glasses.[ Except as a Ryslig harpy.] He's approaching forty but looks young for his age.
Monster Changes
•DEMEANOR: Energetic, confident enough in body language. He holds himself straight but is also twitchy and easily startled. He's prone to gesturing with his hands and fidgeting. He gets a thousand yard stare sometimes under stress or even shuts down completely. Midwestern accent.
•ABILITIES: Medical examiner, can conduct autopsies. He's got a background in medicine and almost became some kind of doctor for living people. Has first aid skills. He also has a practical grasp of physics and computer basics. Can play accordion, drums, clarinet and harmonica. He has enough imagination to be a good (if "evil") DM at D&D. In general, memorization and learning come easily for him. He has a strong stomach and isn't squeamish, except when watching people being hurt.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Without his glasses he's almost blind and can only see for a couple of feet around him. [Except as a harpy.]
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Not a "subject" but he is antsy around moving corpses and not fond of necromancers. He'd rather not be called Wally either.
IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: Sure. He was "soulgazed" by an evil necromancer once so his impression of the man's soul is still hanging around somewhere in there giving him nightmares. You can't really interact with it, it's just there.
•MIMICRY: Yes.
•VIOLENCE: Yes. Let me know before anything permanently debilitating, limb removal or murder.
•MAGIC: Yes.
•DEBATE: Yes. If it's too technical and involved for me to keep up I'll let you know.
•HUGGING/KISSING/PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Might get awkward since he has a girlfriend at home but sure.
•SHIPS: He'll be slow to get involved with anything, because once again, girlfriend. But maybe?
•OTHER / NOTES:
CW: In Ryslig suicidal thoughts/plans are likely.

Technically has a doctorate but only uses his title in professional situations.
